La Coupe de l'Espoir

The Coupe de l'Espoir is a hockey tournament organized to benefit the Charles-Bruneau Foundation, which is celebrating its 12th edition this year. The event will take place on Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Damien-Hétu Sports Center in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts (40 Brissette Street, Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, QC J8C 1T3).

A minimum donation of $100 is required to participate in the tournament.

About childhood cancers

Every day in Quebec, a child is diagnosed with cancer.
Every week in Quebec, a child dies of cancer.
Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children aged 0 to 18.
Cancer strikes 1 in 400 children before the age of 15.
More than half of these children are under 5 years of age at the time of diagnosis.
The cure rate for the main types of cancer has risen from 30% in 1980 to over 80% today.
