Campaign in honor of Juliette

We are Valérie Labelle and Maxime Bélanger, residents of Prévost for thirteen years and parents of three children. We're organizing a benefit evening for the Charles-Bruneau Foundation. This foundation finances and supports the development of projects and research dedicated to pediatric hemato-oncology. And this cause is particularly close to our hearts, as we have lived through every parent's worst nightmare: accompanying our child through illness, and then to death.

In 2019, at the age of 5, our daughter Juliette was diagnosed with brain stem glioma. To this day, there is no cure for this type of cancer. As a result, Juliette died at the age of 6, far too early for the life a parent can hope for their child. We hope that research will advance further and that medicine will be able to give a chance of cure to all children diagnosed with cancer in the years to come.

The event we're organizing to benefit the Charles-Bruneau Foundation will be held at Val-des-Monts school in Prévost on Saturday, November 02, 2024. We're expecting around 350 guests, who will receive play money to participate in various casino-themed games. There will also be an auction and participation prizes. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Charles-Bruneau Foundation.
