La Coupe de l'Espoir
The Coupe de l'Espoir is a field hockey tournament organized to benefit the Charles-Bruneau Foundation, which this year will be celebrating its 11ᵉ edition. The event will take place on Saturday, May 24, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Centre sportif Damien-Hétu in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts (40, rue Brissette, Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, QC J8C 1T3).
A minimum donation of $100 is required to participate in the tournament.

About childhood cancers
- Every day in Quebec, a child is diagnosed with cancer.
- Every week in Quebec, a child dies of cancer.
- Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children aged 0 to 18.
- Cancer strikes 1 in 400 children before the age of 15.
- More than half of these children are under 5 years of age at the time of diagnosis.
- The cure rate for the main types of cancer has risen from 30% in 1980 to over 80% today.
