United for Xavier and the Charles-Bruneau Foundation

Our son Xavier was diagnosed with leukemia in May 2025. Since receiving the diagnosis, he has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments with a courage and resilience that inspire us every day.

Xavier is fortunate to be receiving treatment at the Charles-Bruneau Pediatric Oncology Unit at CHUS Fleurimont. For over 30 years, the Charles-Bruneau Foundation has funded research and development projects dedicated to pediatric oncology, to give children in Quebec the best chance of recovery. Xavier will also have the honor of being one of the foundation’s heroes during the upcoming CIBC Charles-Bruneau Tour in July 2026.

To mark his first year of fighting—even though he still has more than a year of treatment ahead of him—we are organizing a charity run and walk event.

When: Sunday, June 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
It is important to check in at the reception desk between 9:15 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.

Where: Track surrounding the soccer field at Collège Clarétain
663 Gamache Street, Victoriaville

Format: Participants are invited to complete as many laps of the track (400m) as possible, either running or walking, between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM.

Partner companies will make a donation proportional to the total number of laps completed collectively. We also encourage participants to find people in their network who would like to sponsor their laps individually.

Volunteers will be stationed at a checkpoint to officially count the laps completed by all participants.

All proceeds from this event will be donated in full to the Charles-Bruneau Foundation.
